Job Description
- Work hands-on at the front of Medical Devices developing innovative micromechanical dispensing systems such as wearable and programmable micropumps.
- Plan, execute and perform tests and experiments for characterization and design verification of micromechanical dispensing systems
- Evaluate and report tests and results with fidelity towards project teams, notified bodies, and patients.
- Development and qualification of test setups and methods
- Work in interdisciplinary project teams in the field of Medical Device Development
- Comply with quality standards to develop safe and high quality micropumps for patients worldwide
- Help to optimize processes and maintain laboratory and laboratory equipment in pristine condition
Qualifications
- A degree in the field of mechatronic/mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a degree in biotechnology or chemistry/chemical engineering. Other educations with proven focus on technology and hands-on laboratory record are considered too.
- First experiences in measurement and test engineering, micromechanics, pneumatics, microfluidics, actuators and sensors
- Experience with programming of LabView and Teststand or similar is an advantage
- Organizational talent and hands-on mentality
- Good language skills in English (written and spoken).
