Job Description
- Manage Non-Complex Projects: Oversee B and C-level projects or sub-projects related to medical plastic systems and glass primary packaging, from development through industrialization to final product handover. Support from senior managers is available for increasing complexity.
- Project Documentation & Charter: Clarify project scope based on contracts, quotations, and order documents. Develop project charters and define deliverables.
- Process Coordination: Align standard qualification and validation strategies with customers and internal departments, following defined processes (SOP PM001 ff).
- Project Planning & Execution: Create project structure plans and define work packages for technical departments. Lead and coordinate project teams under the guidance of senior managers and the Head of Program Management.
- Conflict Management: Mediate and resolve conflicts with a solution-oriented approach, in collaboration with senior leadership.
- PM Leadership Implementation: Apply the program management leadership approach within the core project team.
- Budget & Timeline Management: Plan project budgets, monitor cash flow, and ensure timely invoicing.
- Reporting & Reviews: Prepare project reports on margin, milestone tracking, risks, and deliverables. Conduct reviews with customers and internal teams as required.
- Customer & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project management topics at the project core team level. Ensure proactive communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Document Management: Ensure all project documentation complies with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) standards, excluding FDA submission programs.
- Project Control & Monitoring: Track project milestones, financial targets, and risks, ensuring timely progress and risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or economic field, with initial project management experience.
- At least 1 year in a similar role, with hands-on experience managing non-complex projects or sub-projects.
- Project controlling, including cash flow, cost tracking, and product cost management.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations and Good Documentation Practice.
- Experience in project management processes, including the use of PM SOP templates.
- Proficient in stakeholder management and risk management.
- Understanding of design control plans and development processes, including injection molding, assembly, and glass forming.
- Strong proficiency in standard software (MS Office, SAP) and project management tools.
- Excellent team coordination, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
