Medical Device Electronics Engineer – Development (m/f/d)

Job Description

  • Specifying, developing, and testing innovative product-specific electronics, functional samples, and prototypes
  • Working on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) circuitry and other communication interfaces
  • Developing product specific electronics requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and norms
  • Evaluating components and ensuring their suitability for the product
  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive product documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Providing ongoing product support during the serial production and market phases
  • Acting as a strategic interface with suppliers in the field of electronics development and manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Do you hold a degree in electronics engineering FH/Uni/ETH, or an equivalent field? This is your chance to leverage your educational background and turn it into real medical products on the market.
  • We value experience. If you have several years of hands-on experience in specifying, developing, and testing electronics components, we would like to hear from you.
  • Show us your practical knowledge in hardware design of embedded control systems. This will demonstrate your ability to tackle complex challenges head-on.
  • Are you known for your systematic, quality-oriented, and well-documented working? Our team places a strong emphasis on these qualities.

  • Fluency in English is essential to effectively communicate with our international team and external partners. German knowledge is advantageous
  • Experience in medical device development is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with the IEC 60601 standard series, wireless connectivity, and cybersecurity standards and guidance documents will be a great asset in this role.
