Head of Supply Chain

Job Description

  • Monitoring and disposition of the short, medium and long-term delivery capability to cover customer needs and achieve sales targets
  • Management of product relevant purchasing orders
  • Management of production plan according to customer demand and plant performance (planning and monitoring)
  • Inventory management of raw materials, packaging and finished goods, taking needs, availability and IRRM and IRFG targets into account
  • Management of the process of incoming and dispatch of materials
  • Leading of the supply chain team of the plant with all the individual tasks involved (appraisals, development plans, initiate disciplinary measures, etc.)
  • Continuous evaluation of KPIs related to supply chain and development of improvement plans and measures according to the objectives of the plant
  • Interface with internal and external partners regarding order management (production, logistics, commercial area, purchasing, suppliers, customers, sister plants, etc.), building trust
  • Representation of the plant in SCM issues after consultation an in alignment with top management
  • Driving of change processes and implementation of CAPAs under the area of responsibility
  • Foster safe working conditions to the area of responsibility
  • Execution of projects related to responsible sourcing and sustainability on supply chain according to the group targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above, preferable to major in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related area
  • 5 years of experience in a comparable position with managerial responsibility in manufacturing environment (with proven experience on production planning and logistics management)
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards common goals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex supply chain challenges
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively
  • Risk management
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
