DevOps Engineer (Intermediate to Senior)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines in an Azure environment.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, ensuring high availability and robust disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.
  • Maintain and optimize existing Azure environments, including virtual networks, VMs, storage accounts, and other Azure resources.
  • Implement and manage security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and compliance controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and DevOps trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on Azure environments.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge in cloud networking
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Additional Information

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet.
