DevOps Engineer (Intermediate to Senior)

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines in an Azure environment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, ensuring high availability and robust disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.
- Maintain and optimize existing Azure environments, including virtual networks, VMs, storage accounts, and other Azure resources.
- Implement and manage security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and compliance controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and DevOps trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on Azure environments.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible.
- Knowledge in cloud networking
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Additional Information
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet.
