Smart Factory Coordinator

Job Description
-Lead and manage smart factory projects, ensuring successful implementation and integration across Primary Plastic Packaging facilities.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
-Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations through digital solutions.
-Interact with personnel at all levels across the site to understand their needs, challenges, and perspectives on process improvements.
-Coordinate initiatives and ideas with the global Smart Factory team.
-Coordination and requirements management for our future divisional Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and connected peripheral systems (including machine data connection, SAP SAC, Grafana, Power BI).
-Connection of new systems and maintenance of connected systems.
-Responsibility for the operation of the machine data connection and support with the connection of new machines.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related disciplines.
-Experience in supporting smart factory applications.
-Understanding modeling applications, data structures, IT infrastructure and the integration of industrial plants.
-Experience in the design of communication infrastructures, associated standards and protocols (e.g. OPC UA, MQTT) and their implementation in IoT devices and backend interfaces.
-Good understanding of production processes and interrelationships.
-Experience with agile project management methods such as Scrum.
-Independent, structured way of working, communication skills and a high degree of quality awareness.
-Fluent in English.
- Knowledge about injection processes or a willingness to learn would be highly advantageous.
